By downloading, installing, or using Lamplight, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian, you accept these terms on behalf of your child. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

Lamplight is a mobile app that delivers narrated Bible stories with Renaissance-style artwork. Stories are available for streaming through the app. You may also download stories for offline listening. Downloaded content is stored on your device and can be managed from the Settings screen.

Content

All stories in Lamplight are denomination-neutral retellings of well-known Bible stories, intended to be accessible to all ages. Audio narration and illustrations are AI-generated. Stories may simplify or adapt source material and are not a substitute for reading scripture directly.

Cost

Lamplight is completely free to use. All stories and features are available at no cost. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or hidden fees.

Acceptable Use

The app and its content are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Reproduce, redistribute, or publicly display any content from the app
• Create derivative works from the stories, audio, or illustrations
• Use the app or its content for any commercial purpose
• Extract, copy, or redistribute downloaded audio files or artwork outside the app

Intellectual Property

All content in the app, including story scripts, audio narration, artwork, and visual design, is owned by Gurkirt Heerey. All rights are reserved. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership or license to the content beyond personal use within the app. Downloaded content remains the property of Lamplight and is licensed for personal offline use only.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to ensure content quality and app reliability but make no guarantees regarding accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted access.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurkirt Heerey is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of enjoyment, or any damages resulting from interruptions in service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
